Paper punches, especially my corner rounder, are the most used thing I own. I run a stationery business so I work with paper every day and I swear by this technique! (You can shop my line of stationery and paper goods here.) For awhile I was simply replacing them as they got dull but it seemed like such a waste of money and punches.

A note: You don't want your foil to be too thick or it may jam. Gauge to see how "thin" and "thick" of a foil piece your punch can handle with one punch. If it jams I give it a good tap on the table until it unjams itself and know I need a thinner piece of foil.
