One of my favorite things about Houston is the local restaurants. I honestly cannot rememeber the last time I've eaten at a chain restaurant since moving here.
Every week my friend Natalie and I love to have what we call "foodventures." I see a lot of bloggers have themed photos and wanted to start one of my own. Each week (or whenever she and I go out to eat) I'd like to bring you all along on our foodventure.
This week Natalie found this quaint little place tucked on Westheimer. I can't believe I drive down that road all the time and have never seen it. The next few weeks we're trying not to "plan" where we go. Rather, we're going to keep our eyes open while going about our daily business and see what new restaurant we notice. If it looks cute we'll check it out. I know. We're really living on the edge but it's an adventure we're looking for. I figured this would be more fun than looking up reviews online. If it's bad then we'll move on. So far, we haven't come across a place we haven't liked yet.
